• Irrigation Systems - Learn how to design and install irrigation systems through practical and inexpensive techniques that gauge important physical site features into the equation.
• Pest Management of Landscape Turf - Weeds, diseases and insects are ready to pounce on weak turf, turning it into an eyesore. In this course, you’ll learn how to effectively diagnose and treat insect, disease, and weed problems in turf.
• Turfgrass Disease Management - This course will cover how to identify and control turf diseases such as Brown Patch, Summer Patch, Dollar Spot, Fairy Ring, Pythium Blight and many others. This will cover new products and controls, including the most current information regarding cultural, chemical, and biological techniques.

These are the current requirements for renewing your Pennsylvania Landscape Architects license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.


• To renew your Landscape Architect License in the state of Pennsylvania, you are require to complete 10 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Only courses that have been approved through the Board will be accepted for the continuing education requirements. The courses must cover topics that further the skills of the landscape architect.
• The licensee shall submit continuing education completion to the Board with the renewal application.
• The licensee shall maintain a record of continuing education completion for a minimum of 4 years. The Board will randomly audit for continuing education compliance.
